Bringing on board experienced professional Jorge Sanz is a big win for the Spanish Kooi team. With a solid background in sales and camera security, Jorge's Iberian mission is to establish new partnerships and networks to ensure safety and security on project sites with our Units for Observation.
“You know, this is a good opportunity for me,” says Jorge. He sees this as a great opportunity, saying, “Kooi is a young company with young people willing to work hard. And temporary mobile camera security is a highly interesting market with a lot of opportunities.” He's already rolled up his sleeves and is ready to get started.
Initially, the new sales manager has a degree in law. However, he quickly shifted to selling bikes, motorbikes, and suitcases. Jorge explains, "That's when I started concentrating on marketing, product management, and sales." His career took him from managing products at Hewlett Packard to working with small security firms and eventually handling CCTV for upscale homes with a strong need for security.
Then, Jorge's path led him to Kooi. As the European leader in mobile camera surveillance, we have ambitious plans for Spain. Our UFOs safeguard valuable materials, equipment, and cables at construction sites, wind farms, and solar fields, putting a stop to theft, vandalism, and costly project interruptions. Jorge says, "Meeting Kooi's management left me with a good feeling right from the start. At Kooi, everyone has a drive to grow personally and professionally. It got me really excited!"
A special focus of Jorge's role will be building partnerships for Kooi Videovigilancia. "Based in Madrid, I'll handle the BePartner program and establish a network of partners to rent our products," Jorge explains. Fortunately, he's also bringing his extensive network along to help find the right partners for the right markets. "Most of them will be in the security sector, but there are potential partners in related fields who could be of interest to us."
In the end, Jorge is very motivated to introduce our innovative camera systems in Spain alongside his Spanish colleagues. "For me, this opportunity arrives at just the right time, in the right place, and with the right people."
