As the installed capacity of solar power grows, so does the number of incidents. Thieves are not just focusing on solar panels, but are also increasingly targeting connecting cables and even inverters. Solar parks often fall victim to these activities, as they are located out of the way and are not always adequately protected against vandalism and theft.
We are currently overseeing the SUNEL Group construction project of the 48MW solar park in Ramme, Jutland, Denmark. Our first and foremost priority is to prevent crime, theft, or property damage from ever occurring in the first place. Our mobile video security solutions offer a high-definition camera that can be set up in insecure, remote, or "dead zones" that can be observed while providing security.
Earlier in 2022, GreenGo Energy Group and Skovgaard Energy started construction of a 48MWp solar farm combined with a wind park in Denmark. The Ramme 48MWp solar park is an integral part of a pioneering project where hybrid wind and solar generation on-site are combined. The solar park has been engineered by GreenGo to include the latest in PV technology, including bi-facial module technology implemented with horizontal tracking systems. The latest technology in superstring inverters has been integrated into the project to achieve the highest energy yield and lowest cost of energy.
Overseeing the security of a solar park construction comes with the responsibility of managing the safety of the construction site.
