GreenGo Energy together with INTEC Energy Solutions has started the construction of Project M12, a 29MWp solar park in Fjerritslev, Denmark. Kooi UFOs were placed at the construction site to secure the location with mobile video surveillance, in order to avoid damages and delays in the project.
The solar park will have an annual production of 37.5 GWh corresponding to green electricity for +9,000 Danish households. The project was grid connected through 2022 and fully operational in mid-2023. Both HOFOR and GreenGo Energy emphasise that the nature and biodiversity of the project area are preserved and further improved. There will be green, natural planting around the solar park and space will be made for wildflowers to grow in the area so that biodiversity is naturally strengthened.
