Kooi will open a new branch near Vienna, Austria in May 2021. This means Kooi has 13 office locations in 6 different European countries. “With the opening of the new office, we have better access to Eastern and Southern Europe, where we see many opportunities for our innovative products in the field of temporary mobile camera security. This is in line with our strategy, with which we aim to conquer Europe”, says Frank Käferböck, CEO Austria.
At the location in Austria, development and innovation, production and the provision of Kooi’s quality service are key elements. Kooi is a specialist in the field of temporary mobile camera security and heating detection. The company is currently active in 22 European countries, with more than 2,200 of its own camera systems. Käferbock: “We have two types of innovative products. First the Unit For Observation (UFO), a state-of-the-art camera system with which we secure wind and solar parks, construction sites and buildings, among other things.” These types of locations regularly fall prey to theft and vandalism. “Our systems detect unwanted visitors. By using a siren and voice message, we can chase away about 99% of the intruders. This prevents a lot of material and immaterial damage.”
The second type of product is the RED: “RED stands for Rising Early Detection. It is a thermographic camera that detects abnormal temperature rises in the waste and recycling industry. This means heating is quickly detected and appropriate action can be taken.” The technical developments regarding these products follow each other in rapid succession. “We have a lot of technical knowledge in Austria, which is why product development and innovation are key elements at this location.”
Kooi products can be used in any area. “Our systems are also extremely suitable for remote locations”, says Käferböck. “We have various accessories, enabling us to sustainably supply the systems with power where this is not available.”
Simultaneously with the opening of the new office, Kooi is launching a website in Austria. “People must be able to find us quickly and that’s why we’re excited to also launch a new website. In addition, customers can use our 24/7 Kooi app, which we developed ourselves. The app is available in various languages, offers the customer a convenient overview of all projects and the associated cameras and ensures that customers can quickly change security times.”
